This course provides a practical overview of preparing for an AHCA annual survey within the Florida nurse registry model. Participants will learn how surveys commonly follow applicable G-Tags and regulatory requirements, how to review policies and procedures for operational alignment without unnecessarily overinterpreting regulations, and how to prepare personnel files, client records, emergency preparedness documentation, and onboarding materials for survey review. The course also discusses client-directed care concepts, AHCA’s risk-based survey approach, mock surveys, professional survey conduct, responding to deficiencies, and maintaining ongoing operational readiness across the entire office team.
