The following are the terms and conditions for the use of the C-E-U.com Service, which includes (without limitation) email and any other services that may be offered from time to time by C-E-U.com (collectively, the "Service") in connection with your account. 1. MEMBER ACCOUNT, PASSWORD, AND SECURITY

To open an account with C-E-U.com, you must complete the registration process by providing current, complete, and accurate information as prompted in the Registration Form. You will then choose a password and an account name (username). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify C-E-U.com immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security.

2. MEMBER PRIVACY

At C-E-U.com, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our members. We will not monitor, edit, or disclose any personal information or the content of your use of the Service without your prior permission, except when we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations or court orders;

  • Protect and defend the rights or property of C-E-U.com;

  • Enforce these TOS;

  • Safeguard the interests of our members or others.

You also agree that C-E-U.com may access your account and its contents as necessary to address technical or service-related issues.

3. DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

C-E-U.com is an independent provider of nursing continuing education. Unless expressly noted otherwise, neither C-E-U.com, its authors, nor any affiliated websites have any financial relationship with external commercial interests.

4. MEMBER CONDUCT

As a condition of using the Service, you warrant that you will not use it for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that violates these TOS. The Service is for personal, non-commercial use only. Accordingly, you agree to use the Service solely for exchanging personal messages. Unauthorized commercial use or resale of the Service is expressly prohibited.

You further agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and are solely responsible for all activities occurring under your account, including the content of any communications you transmit. For example, you agree not to:

You agree that C-E-U.com shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access to, alteration of, or interruptions in the transmission of data, nor for any content provided by third parties. The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties (express or implied), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. 8. TERMINATION

C-E-U.com reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. We may also suspend or terminate your account for extended inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately and C-E-U.com is under no obligation to retain any data associated with your account.

9. ACCREDITATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

It is the sole responsibility of our members to ensure compliance with any continuing education requirements mandated by their respective state, province, licensing board, or other regulatory authority. The online listings provided on C-E-U.com are for reference only and are not guaranteed to be complete. C-E-U.com is not liable for any discrepancies or omissions regarding individual licensing or accreditation requirements.

10. REFUNDS

C-E-U.com is committed to member satisfaction. Please note that we do not store any credit card information on our website; all transactions are conducted securely through direct links to the relevant banking institutions.

Refunds for membership fees (minus a 20% administrative fee) will be processed provided no courses have been taken. To be eligible for a refund, you must send an email request within 24 hours of initial registration and include your authorization number, user ID, full name, and membership date.

11. CHARGEBACKS

If you have a dispute regarding a credit card charge, please contact us immediately so that we can work to resolve the issue. If you initiate a dispute without first contacting C-E-U.com, we reserve the right to impose a fee of $40 to cover administrative costs for handling the dispute.

12. NO SPAM POLICY

C-E-U.com has a zero-tolerance policy for spam. Any account found to be transmitting or associated with unsolicited bulk emails or spam will be terminated immediately.

13. PARTICIPATION IN ADVERTISER PROMOTIONS

Any dealings you have with third-party Advertisers or participation in promotions offered through the Service are strictly between you and the third party. C-E-U.com is not responsible for any terms, conditions, warranties, or representations made by such third parties.

14. CE-BROKER SERVICE

For our paid subscribers, C-E-U.com will electronically submit the continuing education credits earned by licensed nurses to the state-authorized provider, CE Broker. Please note that submissions will only occur for complete monthly periods, and any incomplete or inaccurate registration information may prevent proper submission. It is your responsibility to ensure that all license information (including profession, license number, full name, and address) is correct. C-E-U.com is not liable for any errors in the transmission of continuing education credits.

15. PROPRIETARY RIGHTS

All materials provided through the Service, including text, software, graphics, videos, and other content, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may download or print content solely for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that all copyright and proprietary notices remain intact. You are strictly prohibited from modifying, copying, republishing, uploading, posting, transmitting, or distributing any content from the Service without express written permission from C-E-U.com or the appropriate rights holder.

16. MODIFICATIONS TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE

C-E-U.com reserves the right to change these Terms of Service or any related policies at any time, with or without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

17. GENERAL

This agreement is governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which C-E-U.com operates. Use of the Service in any jurisdiction where these terms are not fully enforceable is unauthorized. No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship is intended or created by these TOS. C-E-U.com's obligations under this agreement are subject to applicable legal processes, and nothing in these terms limits our right to comply with governmental or law enforcement requests.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be replaced by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely reflects its original intent, and the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect. This document constitutes the entire agreement between you and C-E-U.com regarding your use of the Service and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether written or oral. Printed versions of this agreement and any notices provided electronically will be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings. Any cause of action arising out of or related to the Service must be commenced within one (1) year of the date the cause arose; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.

As a provider of nursing continuing education, C-E-U.com welcomes submissions of professional articles intended for use as nursing continuing education material. We offer full credentialing and certification using our provider numbers. Content submissions should be clear and easy to read, ideally between 1800 and 2000 words in APA format. 18. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

By registering an account with C-E-U.com, you expressly consent to receiving marketing emails and other promotional communications from us at any time. These communications may include information about our products, services, promotions, or upcoming events. You retain the right to opt out of these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in each email or by contacting us directly.
